Noble Fir, with its layered sturdy branches and superior needle retention, is considered the best Christmas tree in the world.  Noble Fir (Abies procera) is a high elevation tree grown only in the Pacific Northwest of North America. Christmas trees grown higher in the mountains receive a good solid frost before harvest, and that is how the trees become fully dormant. This is the key determining factor for improved needle retention and keeping the tree fresh.

Hollow Creek Tree Farm is excited about bringing this exotic, cold-hardened Christmas tree from the Pacific Northwest to the midlands of South Carolina. The trees will be cut from an Oregon farm, loaded promptly on a refrigerator truck, and shipped fresh to Hollow Creek in time for Thanksgiving.  We are certainly one of the few places - if not the only place - to offer them in our area.

All of our freshly cut trees are displayed in water and under shade.  Available the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

  • Noble Fir has soft blue-green needles on evenly spaced strong branches - perfect for heavy ornaments.
  • Noble Fir has exceptional needle retention.
  • Noble fir has a pleasant mild fir scent.
  • Chances are, no one else you know will have one!

Noble Fir come in a variety of styles and they present the ornaments and Christmas lights in a very natural way. Decorated at home they are just magnificent.  It’s no wonder that Noble Fir is considered...

The Best Christmas Tree in the World.
